Lagen Island Resort
Nestled between a lush four-hectare forest and a calm, shallow lagoon, Lagen Island in El Nido, Northern Palawan, is an ideal destination for those seeking a relaxing holiday in a private and tranquil island. The resort offers a magnificent view of Bacuit Bay and the El Nido sunset. The surrounding forest and the breathtaking limestone cliffs are natural attractions that also serve as a sanctuary for a diverse variety of birds and mammals. Here, guests can observe and delight in wildlife flourishing in their natural habitat.
Lagen Island offers 50 modern accommodations that exude an air of subdued elegance. It has an air-conditioned restaurant and a poolside bar. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, spa suite, massage cabana, and a marine sports center. There is a boutique, game area, library, a garden chapel for intimate weddings, and a conference room that can accommodate up to 70 persons theatre-style. Complimentary wi-fi connection is available at the Clubhouse.
Accommodation
Lagen Island has a total of 50 rooms that incorporate timber recycled from old Filipino homes for floors and furnishings to evoke charm and quiet luxury. Designed for maximum tranquility and calm, all rooms feature full-height sliding glass doors that open to a private veranda. There are 20 Forest Rooms located at the fringe of the forest. Each Forest Room has a floor area of 52sqm and can accommodate a maximum of three persons. Three Forest Suites are located at the upper level of the Forest Room Complex. Each Forest Suite has a floor area of 70sqm that can comfortably house three, and features a bath tub and twin vanities. There are 18 Water Cottages built on stilts above the water, and nine Beachfront Cottages with a panoramic view of the cove. Each of these rooms has a 53sqm floor area designed for three.
Water Cottages
These Cottages are individually built on stilts which are connected by a boardwalk. Each cottage has a total area of 53 sqm. WC 101 – 108 are located on the South Wing providing easy access to the arrival area and to the resort’s clubhouse. WC 109 – 118 are situated at the North Wing ideal for guests requiring more privacy as foot traffic in this side is light. WC 101 – 103 and 109 to 111 has Double beds each. All others have Twin Beds.

Beachfront Cottages
These Cottages are located at the waterfront offering one with the best view of the cove and of the El Nido sunset. Each cottage has a total area of 53 sqm. All blocks are built with duplex rooms, except for BC 124, which is the only cottage detached. Lagen’s Beachfront Cottages are ideal for families as they provide convenient access to the swimming pool and the clubhouse. BF 120, 122, 124, 126, 128 houses Double beds each.

These Cottages are located where Lagen’s forest starts. These are clusters of rooms built adjacent to each other. The 2 complexes offer upper and lower accommodations. FR 201-211 are in the complex nearest the clubhouse. FR 301-311 are in the complex nearest the arrival area. All Forest Rooms have a total area of 52sqm. FR 201 – 202 are built with ramps ideal for guests on wheelchairs. Both rooms have wider shower areas for guest’s easier movement. FR 202,205,302 and 305 have Double beds. All others have Twin Beds.

These Cottages are the most luxurious rooms at El Nido Resorts. Apart from the standard Lagen room amenities, the suites are equipped with TVs and DVD Players for movie viewing, in room safe, a lounge, and a bathtub. All suites have a total area of 70 sqm and each has a Queen bed.

Snorkel at the house reef and meet some of the hundreds of fish species and other interesting sea creatures of El Nido. Kayak around Lagen Island and discover hidden caves amidst the limestone cliffs. Go trekking or bird-watching at Lagen Island’s nature trail, which passes through the forest and ends in a private cove. Palawan hornbills and macaques are a common sight here. Take a sunset cruise around Bacuit Bay. Go stargazing. Stellar wonders like the North Star, the Southern Cross, and other heavenly formations in the Milky Way, which may not be seen in the night skies of other countries, can be clearly viewed from El Nido. Resort Policies
Child Policy
Children 6 years old and below sharing room with at least 1 adult stay for free, and shall be extended complimentary kids’ meals, tours and boat transfers. For Apulit and Miniloc Islands – Children 7-11 years old shall be charged Child Supplement of PhP 3,000.00 ++ per child per night, inclusive of 3 full board meals, tours and boat transfers. For Lagen – Children 7-11 years old shall be charged Child Supplement of PhP 1,500.00 ++ per child per night, inclusive of breakfast, use of snorkeling and kayak at resort and boat transfers. For Pangulasian Island – Children 7 – 11 years old shall be charged Child Supplement of PhP 2,000++ per child per night, inclusive of breakfast, use of snorkeling and kayak at resort and boat transfers. Children 12 years old and above shall be charged applicable adult rates. Should a separate room be requested for children below 12 without any adult sharing the room, one child shall be charged the single adult rate. The number of children sharing room shall depend on the maximum capacity per room type. This is applicable to all resorts.

Conservation Fee
All visitors to the El Nido-Taytay protected area, 12 years old and above, are required pay a conservation fee of PhP 200.00 per person per visit. This fee is collected for various conservation projects and may be settled at the resort upon check-out.

El Nido Resorts shall not be held responsible for failure to deliver services, nor obligated to provide additional services, in case of fortuitous events or any conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to, flight disruptions and acts of God. Getting There:)
Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI) offers daily flights from Manila to El Nido, Palawan. Travel time is approximately 55-minutes using a 50-seater ATR aircraft. From Lio airport in El Nido, a 45-minute boat ride follows to take guests to Lagen Island.
Flight reservations on ITI may be made through El Nido Resorts. Regular flights depart Manila at 7:00AM, 11:00AM, and 3:00PM daily. Return flights depart El Nido, Palawan at 9:00AM, 1:00PM, and 5:00PM daily.
El Nido is also accessible by land from Puerto Princesa City . It takes approximately 6-hours to travel by land from Puerto Princesa City to El Nido.
